WHO ARE THE DYNAMOS??? The Dynamos full name is DYNAMO DUNSTANBURGH IFC - and we are a Five-a-side football/soccer team which is based the North East of England, in a town called Washington. The Dynamos were formed in October 2000 and started with 6 members. The original members created the name from the streets of which they live. Since the team was formed, we have played nearly two seasons at the Birtley lesuire centre which is governed by the Durham Football Association and played in a tournament in Sunderland. This website was created to give everybody an insight to the team, its players, and to give supporters the chance to follow the teams progress, in the league. This site has a Squad page, which gives descriptions of the current members - there is also Results page which shows the results and reports, along with the league table. This page has current News, guest book, and General Information about the Dynamos. You can also register your votes in the Dynamo Web Poll. 16/03/2002 - DROP IN FORM, BUT STILL PLAYING WITH THE BEST The Dynamos are now in the final stages of the 2001/02 Winter season - and unfortunately due to a recent glitch in form have not led the title challenge that they initially set out to do. However, it has still been a very good season - thanks to the arrivals of a couple of new players, and a lot of hard work from the team. Stay posted for match results and fixtures. |
